Keeping the kiddos busy...

Today I want to share with you Wiz Kid. This toy is so exciting to me because it fits in my purse! Yes, that's right, these small flash cards fit into a neat little box and right into my purse. Why is that exciting? Because, now when I need to keep the little one entertained in the waiting room of a doctors office, dentist office, or in a shopping cart while I'm shopping, it is so easy to do so.




This family game for all ages reinforces vocabulary, phonics, and word categorizations in record speed. Players pick a card from the alphabet letter stack and a card from the answer stack. Then it's time to think fast to generate as many logical associations as possible. Includes 98 cards and instructions. 2 3/8" x 3 1/2" / 6 x 9 cm.

FAMILY 7 years and up - although my five year old plays this all the time.

Clean Up Time...

When it comes to getting your child to clean up... what kinds of trick to the trade to you use? Do you sing a song? Or make it a game?...

I always liked the clean up song... "Clean up Clean up Everybody Clean up"

But lately, mine has out grown the Clean Up song and prefers a game. I like to challenge her colors and shapes and ask her things like, "Put all the RED blocks in the box" or "Put all the cone shaped block in the box". It reinforces her colors and shapes... now that she's learning Spanish I can ask her to "Put all the VERDE block away"

What kind of games and/or songs do you use to make clean up time more fun?
